The iconic New Zealand winery, Villa Maria, is launching its first organic wine range to meet the rising global demand for sustainable produce, as part of its commitment to converting 100% of its company vineyards to be organically managed by 2030.

And with that our first range of fully organic and vegan-friendly* wines were born, showcasing organically grown wines that reflect the thriving New Zealand lands that gave them life. We’ve called this premium organic wine range EarthGarden.
The exciting new EarthGarden range includes Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020, Hawke’s Bay Rosé 2020, Marlborough Pinot Noir 2019 and Hawke’s Bay Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 2019. EarthGarden Tasting Notes
Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020
The Sauvignon Blanc has lifted aromas of citrus fruits, lime and grapefruit that leap from the glass. The flavours on the palate showcase fresh herbs, lemongrass, and passionfruit. The intense fresh fruit concentration is balanced with zesty acidity and is perfectly thirst-quenching.
Hawke’s Bay Rose 2020
This Hawke’s Bay Rosé showcases summer-provoking aromas of blood-orange, rosehip, and watermelon. The palate is rich and moreish, finishing refreshingly dry.
Marlborough Pinot Noir 2019
This Pinot Noir expresses black fruits such as boysenberries and blueberries with subtle floral notes and gentle acidity. The cocoa powder tannins and smoky toasty notes add complexity with a generous earthy textural finish.
Hawke’s Bay Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Deep, purple-coloured hues lead to a perfumed nose of dark fruits, cocoa, sweet vanilla, and clove spices. The full-bodied palate is soft and generous with ripe fruit, silky tannins, and a smooth finish.
