Grapes are picked by hand in small boxes and pressed in the absence of oxygen. Fermentation and aging in French oak (50% new). 10 months on the yeast with bâtonnage. The wine is created during the blending of the Grand Vins of Château Smith Haut Lafitte. Le Petit Haut Lafitte is vinified with the same care as the Grand Vin. From the vineyard to the cellar, all production techniques are identical.
The wine has a clear yellow and bright color. The nose is open with complex notes of citrus and apricot. The characteristics of the two grape varieties can be clearly seen. The freshness and dynamism of Sauvignon Blanc combined with the roundness of Semillon. Great tension on the palate with a wonderful lushness and good length.
